At assembly on Monday 28th October, we had the finale of what was a fantastic 2024 rubik’s cube competition. All students across the school, were initially invited, to try and complete a rubik’s cube in under 2 minutes. 13 students were able to complete this phase of the challenge, before moving on to the competition stage. Here the students competed in a tournament style format, to narrow it down to our final 5 students. These 5 students then competed at assembly for the title of Cana’s 2024 Rubik’s cube champion. Congratulations to Adriel Raquel, for going back to back after also winning last years inaugural competition.
1st place- Adriel Raquel 13.57 seconds
2nd place- Thomas Kalinic 23.1 seconds
3rd place- Christian DeBono 34.58 seconds
4th place- Dane Varun 40.22 seconds
5th place- Ethan Rupa 54.6 seconds
